Current Project

Most children attending government primary schools in Sierra Leone still find themselves without the means to basic education and a conducive learning environment.  The work of the Trust is to alleviate this situation to provide better facilities for primary school children and improve their learning environment.

In partnership with the The Charity Service, Manchester, progress is now being made with work started on the rebuilding of the pupils and staff toilets at the The Regent Rural Education Community Primary School.  We need to:

• Replace roofs and ceilings
• Provide new windows and doors
• Provide basic classroom furniture
• Upgrade sanitation arrangements
• Make other necessary repairs to provide weather tight  and secure learning environments
